Being one of only four bespoke tailors left in Melbourne, we understand what is needed to get the best result for our grooms. So many tailors provide a made to measure service that in no way comes close to the quality and fit of a bespoke garment.

It all starts with your consultation. Our wedding stylist and master tailors will take up to 60 measurements that allow us to understand your body shape in a way like no other tailor. With our stylist’s guidance, you will select a fabric best suited to your skin tone, shape and occasion and then design the dinner suit, tuxedo or wedding suit of your dreams!

Our measurements then get handed through to our master pattern makers who spend up to 10 hours drafting your patterns, all from scratch. As a bespoke tailor, this is our biggest distinction and where we will always be able to outclass any made to measure service. A made to measure tailor will take commercial patterns that already exist and tweak them based on your measurements, failing to capture the nuance of someone’s specific body type and shape. The fit will never be on par.

Being perfectionists, Germanicos will then deliver as many fittings needed to ensure the garments are fitting the groom perfectly. Typically we allow for 8-10 weeks to attain the best fit for our clients. We will always ensure a groom looks his absolute best on the day of the wedding. No groom leaves without a smile from ear to ear!

Our shoe craftsmen use the finest leathers to bring to life a bespoke shoe that will match the prestige of your outfit. Taking inspiration from you, our tailors will guide you through and ensure your fit and shoe style will compliment your needs perfectly.
